I USE IT EVERYDAY, WHATEVER THE WEATHER!

Leo Randsdorp, 75 years old, has been happily driving around on his Mezzo scooter for about 2 years now. ‘Following a tip from friends, I ended up at a trade fair with various mobility scooters. My wife and I were enthusiastic about our first encounter with the Mezzo. Now I use my mobility scooter everyday, whatever the weather!’

Enjoy life

‘The Mezzo simply allows me to go about my daily life. I go to the bridge club, to the swimming pool and go shopping regularly. I don’t take the mobility scooter in the shop because I can cope there perfectly with a shopping trolley.

I do, however, enjoy going out with my wife. My wife has had a mobility scooter for 14 years now. On Sunday mornings we love to make trips of 20 km. Recently we even went on holiday to lovely Almelo. The Valys wheelchair bus had no trouble taking my Mezzo and we enjoyed the beautiful countryside.’

Stable on the road and fantastic suspension

Leo also makes a lot of use of his mobility scooter to visit his son who lives 16 kilometres away. The Mezzo takes him there and back easily and comfortably, but that’s not all. ‘Its stability on the road makes the Mezzo 4-wheel mobility scooter a pleasurable means of transport. And the suspension is fantastic too! I had to get used to steering the mobility scooter at first, but you get accustomed to it easily enough! If I have to suggest an improvement, it’s the colour. I now have a grey Mezzo 4, but perhaps I should have chosen a green one. Then I could have driven around in the colours of my jogging club! But my mobility scooter does go just a bit faster than my wife’s.’
