The Corona crisis has affected us all, but particularly our clients due to the resulting restriction of their freedom and thus their quality of life. The device sector is currently restricted in providing support to all clients with a mobility restriction. We look forward to an easing of the government measures so that we can continue to provide the necessary support to the users of our wheelchairs.
Due to all the deferred indications, we expect an increased demand for our services in the coming months. In this critical period, we do not want to spend time preparing for a large trade fair. We would prefer to use our energy to be a reliable partner for dealers, occupational therapists and physiotherapists in the device sector. For that reason, we have decided not to take part in the international Rehacare trade fair in 2020, which will take place in Dusseldorf in September.
Furthermore, various European governments have banned large events like trade fairs and symposia until August 2020 inclusive. Life & Mobility therefore assumes that in September, large events will still not be possible for visitors and participating employees without some risk. This was something we also took into consideration in our decision.
At the Rehacare, we had obviously planned to present lots of interesting news to a wide international audience. We will now find another outlet. Check out our LinkedIn page and our website!
